Saude Brasil Estados 2018 - Uma análise de situação de saúde segundo o perfil de mortalidade dos estados brasileiros e do Distrito Federal

This report provides an overview of the health status in Brazil in 2018. Since 2004, the Department of Surveillance of Noncommunicable Diseases and Health Promotion, from the Health Surveillance Secretariat (DANTPS/SVS), organizes and annually publishes the book Saúde Brasil (SB). In 2018, for the first time, this publication presents two books: the one traditionally prepared by technicians from the Ministry of Health and guests; and that of the states, which includes the participation of local managers and technicians and, in an unprecedented way, technicians from the State Centers of the Ministry of Health (NEMS), with a view to expanding the use of public data, strengthen the analytical capacity and use of data at local levels.
